Happy 2014!!!

Wow, I cannot believe it's 2014 already. I never like the beginning of a new year because December is my favorite month and I miss Christmas. But I'm actually looking forward to a new year because 2013 wasn't a very interesting year for me. The things I need the most this year is a job, new friends and maybe a Disney trip hehe. I need to try to get out of my comfort zone and just live life. I don't want to look back later and regret not doing things I wanted to do.

I'm also going to try and do my 365 project again this year. I started it last year and just gave up. I really need to get back into photography. I miss it so much. I'm hoping I'll be able to find a job and save up for a new camera. *crosses fingers*

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Ahhh Christmas, I can smell the eggnog in the air already. It's my absolute favorite time of the year. While everyone is getting stressed out over gifts and huge crowds of people, I get so cheery seeing decorations everywhere and drinking eggnog everything. I'm not a big fan of Starbucks but their eggnog iced lattes are so very good! That and the pumpkin iced lattes are the only ones I ever drink. Sometimes I cannot believe there are people in this world that don't like eggnog. I'm already getting excited about putting up the tree and decorating the house. We're getting out the Christmas stuff this weekend and putting it up on Thanksgiving. There is nothing better than watching the Thanksgiving Parade, smelling the turkey being cooked and putting Christmas stuff up. The only thing missing is the cold weather.

How cute are these mason jar candles??? My candle obsession is already becoming a tiny problem. It started with just one autumn candle which then turned into 3 autumn candles and 5 winter ones. They just smell so good I couldn't resist.

a blast from the past

I've been sorting through my mom's photos and organizing them into photo boxes (because I'm the only one in this house who is organized, I don't understand where I got it from O_o) and I love looking though old photos. Oh the nostalgia. I miss everything from the past. The swing set, my bunk bed, inflatable chair, my awesome planets and stars bean bag chair, my car rug, the nickelodeon clock that I still remember how the alarm sounds sound like, my star globe. I miss playing Yahtzee and Racko with my grandma who loved those games so much that whenever I spent the night at her house it was just one of those things we had to do or it just wasn't right. And legos, oh my gosh, I LOVED legos so much! But I do not miss stepping on those at all. I still have my legos but most of the pieces to my sets got vacuumed oops. Gosh I had so much stuff that I wish I kept and so sad I didn't. But I still have all my barbies, pokemon cards and beanie babies hehe. There are so many photos from the past that I could actually make another post for another time. I could probably do a baby me Christmas post before the holidays!

Wasn't I the cutest??? I love seeing pictures of me and my grandparents and then get incredibly sad because I miss them so much. Ahhh I would love to go back in time to relive so many moments.

so i've started a blog...

Hello. I've been wanting to make a blog for some time now and just never got around to it. I share a photography blog with a friend (summer daydream photography) but I wanted one of my own for more than just photography. Although, I haven't been taking pictures like I used to, I really want to get back to doing that. I'm also very new to blogging so I have no idea what I'll be posting but I'm sure it will mostly be my photography, things I'm doing, things I love and so on. :)
